Are you being over charged on your business rates?

Business rates

Unless you work from home or are in a serviced office this is one local tax bill your going to have to pay. The key is not to pay more than you have to!

Your business rates are based upon an assessment made on your behalf by the Valuation Office, they do not take in to consideration your company on an individual basis but rather on an area scale which has been pre-determined by the Valuation Office.

As almost every office is unique in it’s own way due to locality, size, shape, accessible areas we carry out a rating survey which measures the parts of your building which are rateable.

Often we can give our customers an idea the correct amounts you should be looking to pay in business rates and whether an appeal is worthwhile. Often it is with considerable savings available, thus an appeal process is started with the Valuations Office.

We continue our work which includes commencing negotiations when a hearing date is given and attending the hearing.

In 2005 the Valuation Office issued a new ratings list for England and Wales, if you want to make sure that they got your business rates correct then give us a call or click.
